The 7 Days Muktinath Yatra is a spiritual journey that takes you through some of the most sacred and scenic regions of Nepal. The pilgrimage begins in Kathmandu, where you’ll explore ancient temples and shrines, including Pashupatinath and Swayambhunath, before heading towards the Annapurna region. Along the way, you’ll pass through the vibrant city of Pokhara, famous for its stunning lakes and panoramic views of the Himalayas. The journey continues through the rugged terrain of the Mustang region, leading you to the revered Muktinath Temple, nestled at an altitude of 3,710 meters. This holy site is a place of deep spiritual significance for both Hindus and Buddhists, where pilgrims seek purification in the 108 sacred water spouts and offer prayers at the eternal flame.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Meeting at airport on arrival by our personal and transfer to the hotel. Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, lies in a broad valley at the edge of the Himalayan Range. Its art and architecture are an interesting blend of Hindu and Buddhist influences.

Day 02: In Kathmandu
Morning proceed to visit Pashupatinath Temple. Pashupatinath is considered one of the holiest shrines of all the Hindu temples. Located on the banks of the Bagmati river, this two tiered magnificent golden temple with four triple silver doorways is unique example of the Nepalese temple architecture. It is one of the largest Hindu temple complex in South Asia with hundreds of Shiva lingams, shrines icons of various Hindu god and goddess inside. We then continue to the holiest shrine for the Buddhist culture in Nepal, Bouddhanath. One of the oldest and the biggest Buddhist monuments ever built in Nepal, Boudhanath is an imposing structure standing some 36 meters. The Stupa stand on the massive three level mandala style platforms surrounded by colorful private family houses.
Afternoon proceed for sightseeing to Kathmandu Durbar Square & Swayambhunath. Kathmandu Durbar Square area lies in the heart of the city. The locals know this area by its old name Hanuman Dhoka Palace Square – an ancient seat of the Nepalese Royalty. Hanuman Dhoka Palace complex consists of a huge Royal square emposing a tremendous variety of temples dedicated to different Hindu gods and goddess. Most of the buildings we see here date from 15th to 18th Century. Then it is off to Swayambhunath. Located in a lovely little hillock Swayambhunath Stupa is one of the most fascinating architectural jewels of the world. This great Stupa is said to have been built around 250 B. C. It stands commanding a magnificent view of Kathmandu Valley and the Breath taking panorama of the north eastern Himalayan range.

Day 03: Kathmandu / Pokhara (210 KM & 6 hours drive)
Today we will drive to Pokhara. Pokhara, an enchanting city nestled in the tranquil valley (827 m), is the starting point for many of Nepal’s most popular trekking and rafting destinations. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the Magnificence of the fishtail summit of Machchhapuchhre (6,977 m) rising behind it creates an ambience of peace and Magic. The valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, clear lakes and the world famous view of Himalaya. Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manasalu, Machchhapuchhre, five peaks of Annapurna and others.
Optional: En-route visit Manokamana Temple or Rafting on Trishuli River.
Afternoon walking tour to Fewa Lake & visit Tal Barahi (Island Temple).

Day 04: Pokahra / Jomsom (20 minutes flight)
Early morning transfer to domestic airport & fly to Jomsom. Upon arrival transfer to hotel.
After some refreshment we drive to sacred Muktinath Temple (1 hour drive). Situated at an altitude of 3,710 meters (12,172 feet) at the base of the Thorong La mountain pass in the Mustang district, Muktinath is a highly venerated sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. Hindus call the site Mukti Kshetra, which literally means the “place of salvation” and it is one of the most ancient temples of the God Vishnu and the Vaishnava tradition in Nepal. The shrine is considered to be one of the eight sacred places known as Svayam Vyakta Ksetras (the other seven being Srirangam, Srimushnam, Tirupati, Naimisharanya, Totadri, Pushkar and Badrinath), as well as one of the 108 Divya Desam, or holy places of worship of Lord Vishnu. Additionally, it is also one of the 51 Shakti Pitha goddess sites.
After Darshan & Puja return back to Jomsom.

Day 05: Pokhara / Jomsom (20 minutes flight)
After early breakfast fly back to Pokhara & transfer to hotel.
Later we will visit Bindebasini Temple, the temple dedicated to Devi Bhagwati in the old park of Pokhara Bazar. Near to Bindebasini Temple is Seti River that flows right through the center of the city is another remarkable natural attraction. The river’s fierce rush and the deep gorge carved by it make for an amazing sight. The we will visit Devi’s fall & Gupteshwor cave. Davi’s fall is an awesome bottomless fissure in the ground into which the waters of Fewa Lake disappear in a thunderous roar.
Gupteshwor Cave is right across from Devi’s Fall and the cave is almost 3 km long. It has some big hall-size rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all fours. This cave holds special value for Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered.

Day 06: Pokhara / Kathmandu (210 KM & 6 hours drive)
After leisure breakfast drive back to Kathmandu & transfer to hotel. Free day in Kathmandu for personal activities.

Day 07: Depart Kathmandu
Transfer to International airport for onward flight to back home.
